Q&A's
Would you accept my health insurance?
Yes, we accept many insurance companies (such as BCBS, Cigna, Aetna, and more) or you may bill out-of-network. If you do not have insurance coverage, that is okay, you can pay out of pocket. If you are paying out of pocket, the No Surprises Act, ensures transparency and preventing unexpected charges when paying out of pocket.
During our consultation appointment health insurance and costs will be discussed.
Insurance Companies Rachel is In-Network With:
State of IL: BCBS PPO, Blue Choice, Cigna, Aetna
State of MI: BCBS PPO, BCN, Cigna, Aetna, HAP, Optum, and United Healthcare
What does the therapy process look like?
A free 15-minute consultation to ensure a good fit. The first session involves introductions, discussing confidentiality, and outlining what therapy will look like. Following appointments moving forward is tailored for you.
How long will therapy take?
The length of therapy can vary depending on factors such as the complexity of your concerns, your commitment to the therapeutic process, and the therapist's approach. Typically, therapy is a collaborative journey where progress is made over time, and it's important to discuss your expectations and goals with me to determine the duration that best suits your needs.
Please remember that if you're in crisis or need immediate support, don't hesitate to contact a mental health crisis hotline or call 911. Your well-being matters, and there are resources available to support you.
